Update 1 - The Olympic Games

Update 2 - My New Job

Been working here for 6 weeks now. I just found my way around the Lenovo HQ building here lol. It’s huge, compared with the EDS site(an HP company now?!). The job is driving me crazy sometimes but I think I’m getting used to the Beijing ‘country-side’ life here. The stuff I’m doing is not as easy as what I would have expected lol. I’m drowning in the meetings and conference calls. Seriously, Meetings here never end. The department I’m working for is full of geeks. Yeh, they are like proper GEEKS, No joke. Have you ever met a Chinese Geek that talks nothing but online games, gadgets or computers? There are loads in here. I met some cool folks here too. (Pro Evo - Winning Eleven players = Cook Kids!!!).  I’m still waiting for the ‘odd/even number plate regulation’ to go off, then I’ll be able to get my car and live like a King! Damn! I can’t wait…

我已经来北京10多天了！WoW，10多天了都！已经很久没有update blog了今天上午不是特别忙我就来记记流水账吧。自从在青岛度假结束回到上海我就忙的要死，办理离职手续、跟大家告别最后还是遇上了台风。周末到了北京入住hotel一住就是一个礼拜，终于到了上周末搬入租赁的酒店公寓，结果IKEA狂买了一大堆东西最后还是有很多东西miss掉了… 从到北京到今位置可能就2、3个晚上休息了下，正常情况下都在外面疯 （吃喝）。另外本人也officially成为HSBC的一个Premier Account Holder，然后发现所有的有promotion和discount的商家都距离我好远好远… 可怕的五环外的生活啊…

工作啊，和EDS真的有很大差别，很大！ 呵呵！这里啊，好中国化的，然后做得事情又都是Worldwide的，我都觉得有些矛盾。不过工作归工作，一个会接着一个会就这么过来了。so far so good…

奥运会，奥运会啊奥运会，把北京给弄得乱七八糟。还好自己是LI的员工，8月8号在家休息一天也算是回报了。可惜，目前项目的要求可能十几号就要去新加坡呆上几天，希望不要去太久，我可不想ruin了我看奥运会的情绪。票子是有，但是说实在的还是不太敢去看…

很快就要离开这座我beloved城市了，自大二以来的每年夏天都在这里度过。在决定了回国工作那一刻认定了要回到这里，没有经过太多周折我坐在了EDS的office里面，一幌也过了1年零2个月了，我也慢慢的发现了我不仅是适应这个城市的生活，而且更多是我喜欢了这个城市。这里给我留下了很多很多很多的记忆：欢笑、惊喜、失望、泪水，有的事情已经渐渐的淡忘了，但是有的却还是历历在目。这1年的生活我改变了很多，交了好多好朋友。有工作上的、电视节目认识的、老同学、还有以前Kodak的好朋友。我得到了你们无以记数的帮助和支持，谢谢你们了。我就是办公室里的文盲，画廊的免费电脑维修员，juju的机器猫，Bruce和Fandy的叛逆表弟，和传说中的小胖，等等等等。天下没有不散的宴席，可能7月真的是一个离别的季节，但是我会常回来看你们的，你们也要常来看我哦 呵呵。

Office Gossip Club的成员们，我这里马上就要没有internet了，真不好意思在最后时刻才跟你们说，晚上你们大吃一顿吧，尽情的吃，尽情的唱哈！:)

Well, the rumors are over!  Looks like we’ll soon be a part of the HP family! This will be both an exciting time and a scary time.  It’s scary because of all the unknowns and changes that merging two companies can bring.  It’s also exciting because of the potential opportunities that a new company can offer….both from a business perspective as well as a personal growth perspective. I’m sure this is on most of the tech/eco news’ headline today. The CEO of EDS has sent out an announcement this morning to confirm that EDS and HP has come to an agreement on the HP purchase. We will be soon an HP company.

To the EDS Worldwide Team:

Today is a historic day for the future of all of us at EDS, our valued clients, our shareholders and the entire IT industry. EDS and HP have reached a definitive agreement for HP to purchase EDS.

This transaction would be the largest ever in the IT services market and would create a formidable global competitor. EDS would join the world’s largest technology company. HP enjoys a well-respected global brand and broad worldwide resources – along with a strong operational background.

When the transaction is completed, which is expected in the second half of the year, HP will establish a new business group and brand it EDS – an HP company.

WoW burnout了、工作也蛮stress的、平时也不太想出去玩了、减肥没有一次实实在在的做了。回国1年多的日子，除了我的‘没有毅力’没有变化，其他的东西都变了。人胖了又瘦下来，瘦下来又胖上来，呵呵。每天都过得好郁闷，踌躇满志的，就像Terry骂的那样，有什么tmd好愁的，总是杞人忧天。自己有总是一会儿开心（貌似）一会儿进入一个很苦闷的状态，简直就是一个矛盾集中体。总是想去和大家一起party就总觉得很guilty不应该整天吃喝玩乐；总觉得WoW还是很有意思但是每次在线10分钟就觉得无趣要下线；总是有买新车的想法但是每天早上叫车上班塞在马路上觉得坐taxi真tmd舒服，自己开车估计难受死了每天上下班；每天晚上都说要早睡，但是哪天不是2-3点入眠；每次都说要去看演唱会但是自己事情太多也就去看了那么2-3次（后天五月天真想去…）；每次决定和不该联系的那几个人不要联系了，但是每次他们在msn、电话里面和我讲话我又不得不应付；到底要不要upgrade电脑到9800GX2，现在的也够用阿…… 一天到晚的问题…… sigh 自己都不知道怎么解决啊。之前在英国可以放在脑后不去想这些事情的日子不在了，我又真的适应了么？或许爸妈说的对，就不该回来？回来浪费了我宝贵的一年时间？真的该反省一下了……

今天听了教主（公司教主，不是大bo）的一段话还是蛮有感触地。人不能总在要求周边的环境、别人去改变，自己要看看要求别人达到的条件自己能不能达到。所以我也不想再去怨天怨地了，就这么活着，看看能不能找到点生活的亮点吧。有了亮点就有了希望，可能就能找到自己需要的生活。当然生活是自己的，最重要的就是自己去改变生活！

51到了，还有2天，去年的51我还有记忆呢…… 在外面跑了好多天陪ex一起玩，累死了。今年打算呆在上海了，青岛也不要去，就在家宅着吧。

现在的我其实超级难受，我刚刚讲了一个让我可能会好久都不会高兴起来的电话。在过去的一个小时里，我一直在用鼠标点BROKEN SELF的flash，其实完全在无意识的点击，很机械，就像妓女们很机械的和嫖客做着。今天发生的事情和之前的MSN Space里面的最后的一篇blog说的一样，矛盾最后还是产生了，有些事情是不能逃避的。有的时候只能面对，不管你赢了还是输了。我知道我这里写的特别的意识流，但是无所谓了，我看开了。Title says it all, “Why PZ9261.com?” Yes, why this domain? 呵呵，大学学号你们相信吗? 哎…… 我一点都不后悔自己最近做的任何事情，这个blog带给了我很多开心的回忆。这个blog也不会更名，相反，我会恢复到之前update的速度。曾经有人说过，Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. 我真的是 failed in life。就像我之前说的real life sucks… BIG TIME!!! Damnit!!! 本命年, I fucking hate 本命年now。[本文并非意识流，more like 神经有问题 sigh]

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving!!! I’m going to take a LONG WEEKEND BREAK in Guangzhou tomorrow. Away from Friday till next Monday. 估计这期间不能update blog了，但是回来的时候一定会去补上中间missing的内容，party花絮，还有一些可能可能不该发上来的照片吧。who knows… 总之，终于有个机会让我break一下了，我打算到了广州就关掉手机，谁也别找我，让我安静的party4天吧。另外回来还将介绍一个音乐电子期刊 沪江音乐电子期刊Vol. 1 .

本来没什么感觉，但是昨天和好友晚饭后在新天地喝东西聊天的时候不经意的发现现在身边的人都在忙着相亲、订婚、结婚… 真的不知道现在的父母都在急什么… 当然这里面也不乏一些是交往了很久的，朋友们觉得他们也该结婚了 呵呵。不过现在的女孩子好现实啊，办公室里面的同事好多都在抱怨Stingy/Materialized Girls，其实现在在上海这个情况都已经成了很common的啦。去相亲的女孩子无非会问3个问题：有车吗? (有些会直接问，有BMW吗?) 有房子吗? 有贷款吗? 我这些好像都没有哎　呵呵。看来我是没希望了，一个可怜巴巴的月光族/张江男/aka 宅男…　不过还是要祝福那帮lucky的兄弟们，很快就要被束缚在‘结婚’的监狱里面了。lol… 刚刚我还在读 Chinese Lives 的blog上面的一篇文章 Stingy girl worth marrying?，对天涯论坛的一个帖子的讨论。现在经典的人越来越多了，估计都是这个社会逼迫的，没办法，一套房子200万，满大街都是私家车，还有如果带着款半辈子都在换钱，要谁谁能受得了啊……

开始我就迟到了，被人给了‘迟到大王’的title。Tom熊还是蛮有意思的，本来以为里面的游艺机很老了呢，但是感觉还可以，毕竟今天运气不错还是换了不少token。两个光棍就这么过了光棍节 其实我都没有记得11-11还是个节日呢 呵呵。在Arch吃东西的时候说着说着就emo了，让我learn了很多东西。流水账的最后说一下，晚上在taxi里面路过淮海路差点一个冲动去参加了相约星期六外场的录制 哈哈哈哈。开心的一天!!!

流水账要开始了… 可能昨天和Monica, KJ还有Tingwei玩得太晚了，今天本身起床就很晚。现在钱柜的歌更新的好快，而且好多新歌都没有听过，郁闷死我了。今天…超级无聊的。唯一的成就就是小泽Arena3v3打到了1903rating，还不错。考虑到低调、保守、安全等各方面问题，可能就先1900rating吧这个星期。今天没有能去帮KJ弄电脑的事情，在家里面坐着倒是弄了一下180 Day Term License Report的那个工具的documents。今天最郁闷的事情莫过于发短信/MSN留言都没有得到某人的回复 可能很忙吧，也可能很烦吧，也可能我很烦吧？还有什么可能呢？猜想不到了… 明天等电话吧… (update 原来是某人手机忘记充电了…)

Update 1 (2:25am 21st Oct 2007) The show was over. Won shit loads of stuff, inc. iPod (Oh Yeah!). However, I think I hurt someone on the stage Seriously, I feel terribly sorry for Guest 1. We were so good at the games during the show and she’s such a funny girl lol. Damnit! I must have made a mistake then. Sigh. Although I finished the show with Guest 2, some fashion-victim kinda girl… she’s yet another ‘one of us’… By the way, A HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO TURNED UP TODAY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Time to take a shower.

Update 2 (3:00am 21st Oct 2007) I’m happy that Guest 1 replied to my SMS. I really hope she’s fine. Again, I’m very sorry If i had the chance to re-pick I would definitely go for her. Arrghh ‘if, only if’… -_-!! I’m so EMO now.

今天开始回到我的old routine上下班咯，早上走到地铁站，2号线+班车到公司 =) 晚上也是做班车+2号线最后走回家的。今天一整天都在参加EDS WAY的training，好累，这个training好长。还好给我们做这个training的lady英文很好，而且穿插了好多game/quiz session。我的group还是以4500分赢得了最重要的一个quiz，奖励了一个USB Flash Drive。 EDS WAY真的很值得听一下，对今后的工作和个人的发展有很多很好的帮助。另外今天中午是submit the questionnaire的deadline还好我没有miss掉，不过OGC的人都知道了，我又要被狂八了……555555 这个星期接下来会很忙很忙的，周三conference call，周四是不是要training？周五要raid TK/SSC，周六还有fliming，中间还有Monica的艺术家的相机/照片事宜……
Oh my god… This is gonna be the busiest week ever.
